Update as of Wednesday, April 3, 2008:

Beginning Wednesday, April 2, 2008, the Airline Skycap podiums will begin moving out to the center median, making skycap check-in easier for travelers. The airlines scheduled to move this week are Continental and American Airlines, followed by United Airlines and Delta Air Lines next week. The Southwest Airlines skycap move is yet to be scheduled.

The new Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Web Check-In Center is now available. Located across from the PGA Tour Shop, this newly created computer & printer station will give passengers the ability to print a boarding pass for any airline servicing the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. In general, boarding passes are only available 1 to 24 hours prior to scheduled departure and customers traveling with luggage not meeting carry-on requirements must check in at their respective airline ticket counter.

Update as of Monday, March 24, 2008:

Passengers entering the ticket lobby over the next few weeks will see and experience extensive construction work. A combination of construction fencing, signage and airport staff members will help guide customers through the process.

The outside of the temporary ticket lobby is under construction on what was previously the front curb of the terminal. The framework and outer walls are currently being constructed.

When the outside of the temporary lobby is complete, interior work including HVAC, electrical and carpentry will take place.

At this point in the project, all the doors to the ticket lobby are open and accessible.

Update as of Thursday, February 28, 2008:

Local phone calls are free from airport courtesy phones so arriving passengers without cell phones can call their party to notify them of their arrival.
