This map illustrates the airport road plan during ABC including open and closed lanes, the cell phone lot, shuttle and bus parking and disabled pick up and drop off.
This view depicts the new skycap locations and the entrances to the temporary lobby that will be erected beneath the existing green canopy.
Pick Up/Drop Off
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules prohibit parking along the four lanes in front of the terminal with the exception of active loading and unloading only.
During the planning of the ABC Project, the airport completed a traffic analysis of the flow of vehicles on the outer curb between the Parking Garage and center median. The analysis showed the airport can accommodate the dropping off and picking up of passengers during peak travel times regardless of the reduced roadway lanes.
To help ease any potential congestion, buses and hotel shuttles will drop off their passengers south of the terminal. The disabled drop-off and pick-up area will be located just north of the terminal sky bridge.
Uniformed security specialists will be available to help guide customers through the pick-up and drop-off process 24/7.
Skycaps
There will be Skycap service offered on the front curb/center median by Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines and Delta Airlines.
